Check out what arts presenters all around the country are saying about Broadway’s Next Hit Musical
“Broadway’s Next Hit Musical is a hilarious romp through “classic Broadway hits” you’ve never heard before! The talented cast and music director develop songs through the evening that sound familiar - and yet are thoroughly improvised based on audience suggestions. The mini-musical the cast develops - in mere minutes! - to close the show is certainly a creation to behold. The entire performance is great fun for fans who love Broadway musicals, improv comedy, or just a fun night out.”
Jennifer Ross, Director, Programming - Walton Arts Center - Fayetteville, AR
“Broadway's Next Hit Musical is a fabulous show - every night was different. Amazing talent! Our audiences loved the show and people continue to ask when we are bringing them back for an encore. We definitely will be doing that- hopefully in the not too distant future.”
JoAnn Evans, President - El Paseo Arts Foundation - South Padre Island, TX
“I have been fortunate enough to present Broadway’s Next H!T Musical twice, and I’m already looking forward to the next opportunity I have to bring them in! I have never been around a group of artists who are so joyful, collaborative, entertaining, and talented. And if you’re able to have them in for a master class, Don’t. Miss. Out. Informational, inspiring, and hilarious!”
Paul Crook, Executive Director - Etherridge Center - Aiken, SC
“Following a two year period in which it was difficult for us to present live theatre programming, it was a pleasure to welcome Broadway's Next Hit Musical to our campus and community. The company's performance at An Appalachian Summer Festival brought a return to clever and innovative improv theatre programming to our audience-- and an opportunity for humor and belly laughs that was long overdue. Many of our audience members commented on their fascination with the company's ability to think on their feet and instantly conjure up plots, songs, jokes and one-liners. Thanks for an evening of talent, creativity, and fun!”
Denise Ringler, Director of Arts and Cultural Programs - Appalachian State University – Boone, NC
“On behalf of all of the staff of An Appalachian Summer Festival, we want to thank you for once again bringing our audience together for an evening of fun and laughter! Our patrons had a fabulous time and were in complete awe at the talent from the Broadway's Next Hit Musical cast. Please also extend our appreciation to Jeff for the amazing masterclass in improv he conducted with our students. They had such a terrific time engaging with Jeff-- these types of experiences truly have a huge impact on students' overall education at Appalachian State University. It was a pleasure to work with you again and we look forward to welcoming you to Boone again in the future.”
Laura Kaufman, Director of Artist Relations, Artis and Cultural Programs - Appalachian State University – Boone, NC
“BNHM was a crowd pleaser! What’s not to love? With an engaging “host” who interviewed audience members in the lobby before the show asking about their favorite Broadway shows, he incorporated bits about the community during his monologues. The four singers were incredibly talented (“amazing” was one description) as they came up with clever lyrics in the songs they spontaneously created from made-up songs pulled from a fishbowl submitted by the audience. The troupe was engaging, had fabulous voices & were accompanied by a great pianist…All together this made for a very enjoyable evening. A must see!
