You're On the Waitlist - Now What?
When we have our shows in New York City, we do our absolute best to get seats for everyone. Sometimes, though, we can't get everyone tickets ahead of time and we have to start a Waitlist. If you do find yourself on the Waitlist, here's everything you need to know about our procedures.
When You Are on the Waitlist Days Before the Performance
You still may be able to buy a ticket ahead of time and secure your seat!
Often blocks of tickets open up days - sometimes even weeks - before the performances. In the event that this happens, we will contact you via email or phone to offer you seats available which you'll then be able to purchase on our website. These seats are offered to the Waitlist first and then after a period of 24 hours any remaining seats get released to the general public.
When You Are On the Waitlist The Day of the Performance
Our box office will open 45 minutes before the start of the show. When you arrive at the box office you will be given a number. Those who have been on the Waitlist from online sales will be prioritized from those that are walking in.
Fifteen minutes before the show we'll do everything in our power to give you the best options for seats based on your number.
Should you get a seat, you'll pay at the door (cash or credit card) for the price of the ticket. (Note: At the Triad Theater there is a two drink minimum which is cash only)
Then it'll be time to fill out your slip with your made up song title suggestion and enjoy The Phonys!
